A company named Tobii from Sweden has invented new eye tracking technology which facilitates controlling a laptop with eye sight. They have revealed about this new invention at the World’s Biggest Show conducted at Hannover of Germany. The company has tied up with the world’s fourth most reputed PC maker Lenovo to manufacture the new models using Eye Tracking Technology.
The laptops designed with this new technology avails the user to open folders, drag a folder, play video or even to watch movies without using mouse and key board but with just a sight of eye.

Tobii and Lenovo has designed 20 laptops with this new technology and successfully exhibited the models.
The computer using eye tracking technology observes the eyes of the user and understands his needs by the changes of sight. The system always observes the user and shifts into screen saver mode if the user is not looking at it. The monitor gets started again if the user looks at it again.
Generally users have to spend their time fully on computer operating mouse or key board in order to work with it. The new eye tracking technology facilitates the users to do other tasks along with working on the computer. The companies have stated that it would take about 2 years to release these kinds of laptops into global market.
