Woman significantly lead men when it comes to social networking. While men are more likely to use voice/phone communication than women, they only lead by a narrow margin.The survey, fielded by Rebtel, focused on expected future use of social media, social media consumption habits and popularity of social media .
Here’s a breakdown of the findings:
- 68% of women and 54% of men use social media to stay in touch with their friends.
- 60% of women and 42% of men use social media to stay in touch with their family.
- 34% of women and 22% of men use social media to stay in touch with their coworkers.
- 75% of men and 73% of women use voice/phone to stay in touch with their friends.
- 84% of men and 79% of women use voice/phone to stay in touch with their family.
- 73% of men and 70% of women use voice/phone to stay in touch with their coworkers.
